Argentine actor Ricardo Darin surprised everyone by mentioning that there is a possibility that the hit Netflix series "El Eternauta" may not conclude with a second season as initially planned. Darin, the star of the series, was the final guest on "Otro día Perdido," the talk show hosted by Mario Pergolini on El Trece. When asked about his plans for the upcoming year, considering he will become a grandfather in the coming months, he dropped a bombshell about the Netflix series: "Next year, I'm very busy with 'El Eternauta,' and 2027 as well, because it apparently doesn't end with the second season." However, he acknowledged that the final decision is not his alone: "Anyway, it can be changed because it doesn't depend on me. It also depends on Bruno [Stagnaro] and the writers. The level of production and technology was impressive." Darin also reflected on the worldwide impact of the science fiction series, stating, "When we did the work, we saw that it was a big thing, something huge, especially because of the whole production. It was a big hit in Spain."
